It’s currently 38 degrees in Albany. This has been the warmest weather in a while. So exciting to see people on the bus in lighter jackets and less bummy winter dreary clothes. This also put me in a great mood thus I present you an outfit post! 🙂 I wore my Zara jacket over this outfit by the way; it’s not THAT warm yet.

I wanted to give the whole mixing-prints thing a try. So I’m starting small with the scarf and top. Maybe next time I’ll be more bold. 🙂
By the way, happy belated Valentine’s Day lovers! I got flowers from the boyfriend and today is our one month. Time sure flies. We’re having a belated celebration this coming weekend… can’t wait!
I’ve been getting too lazy to update. Although I am consistent with my journal, it’s hard for me to keep up with this blog especially since it’s winter and it’s simply too cold for me to do any outfit posts. All you’re getting out of me from now until probably March will just be lifestyle entries. Hope that’s not too shabby. 🙂
It’s strange how unpredictable life can be. It certainly brings numerous possibilities and it strikes you when you least expect it. Many people say that the best things in the world are sudden encounters, not those moments when you’re searching or actively looking. I have testified to this theory as of late and found it to be true and ladies and gentlemen, that is the serendipity of life.

I’m not really feeling the Christmas spirit even though Christmas is only days away. Besides the fact that the malls are jam-packed with people shopping for last-minute gifts, I’m not getting the usual giddy jittery feeling as the holiday approaches.
Onto another note, I think I pissed off a good number of men recently by bashing on the male species. One of my latest tweets were “The male specie are all the same. I have yet to encounter one that can impress me consistently.” A mere seconds after that tweet, I received about 10 responses strictly from men all along the lines of “We say the same about you girls,” and “We have yet to encounter a woman who consistently impresses.”
Maybe I’m just biased but in my opinion, women always and consistently continue to find ways to please the man of interest whereas the men would be all lovey-dovey and wonderful when they’re trying to get with you and once they “have you” they don’t feel the need for consistency and it’s a downhill slope from there. I would like some thoughts on this if possible. (If you have any, feel free to either leave a message here, through text, email, or a call.)
Since I’m home for the Winter break, it’s time for the reappearance of my roof! I know a lot of my outfits are very ordinary but this blog is more for me (stress-reliever) than for anyone else. I do enjoy meeting new and interesting people and bond over the same topics though. 🙂
